About

Independent journalism for truth, accountability, and human rights.

Occupation Watch is an independent news publication exposing abuses of power, state violence, occupation, war, and the systems that enable them.

Our reporting is centered on Israel and the consequences of its actions, from Gaza and the West Bank to Lebanon, the United States, and beyond. We investigate military conduct, civilian harm, displacement, political influence, lobbying, weapons, U.S. support, and the institutions that help sustain Israeli policy.

Our purpose is simple: find the facts, expose what powerful institutions would rather keep hidden, and make the evidence impossible to ignore.

What we do

We monitor firsthand footage, official records, documents, investigations, independent reporting, and testimony to uncover stories that deserve greater attention.

We report what happened, who was responsible, who enabled it, and what the evidence shows.

How we work

We distinguish verified fact from allegation, testimony, official claims, and analysis. We do not fabricate quotations or distort evidence. Photos, videos, and documents are traced to their source and credited whenever possible.

Occupation Watch is not neutral about human rights. We oppose occupation, collective punishment, forced displacement, attacks on civilians, and abuses of state power.

Our commitment is to the evidence, to accountability, and to exposing the realities the world needs to see.

Occupation Watch is free and reader-supported. Subscribers receive our strongest reporting first through The Occupation Watch Brief.
